THANK YOU-A big thank you to all the parents who helped out last Friday, donating and cooking the sausages. The weather was so awful, it was great to have something hot for lunch. The Road Safety show was awesome and it was lovely to see so many parents enjoying the show with their children. The messages on road safely have been remembered as many of the children stand and sing the song while waiting to cross the road.

Parent Interviews-Thanks to those who have already returned their forms for parent interviews. It is VERY important that all parents come in and talk to their child's teacher before the end of the term. All parents want the very best education for their children and now is your chance to come and discuss the things your child is good at, what they need help with and the best way you can support your child. If you cannot make it on Monday 21 or Tuesday 22 of June please contact your child's teacher and make a separate time. I will be available to see parents during these evenings or at any other time that suits them. Note-School will be closing at 2pm on Monday 21 to allow teachers time to get ready for the interviews starting at 2.30

Lunches-At the moment there are a couple of children who are ordering lunch and then expecting their parent to pay for it the next day. This cannot happen unless you have made an arrangement with the school office. I am sure you do not want a bill for lunches at the end of the week that you knew nothing about.

Donuts-The sale of the donuts was extremely successful. There were 508 bags ordered which brought in a profit of $558. This was excellent. The order forms for pizza's and lamingtons went home earlier in the week. This is due back on Monday June 21, with the money. Delivery will be on Wednesday June 30.
Year 4 Netball-At the moment all the year 4's are going to the old Waiwhetu School site every Wednesday afternoon to play netball. We leave on the bus at 12 and return to school just after 2pm. There is only one Wednesday left this term (next week), but it will be running for the first five weeks of next term. There are two teams, and at the moment only one adult, (me) with them. It would be great to have a couple of parents with us. If you have a child playing and would like to be involved just turn up on Wednesday and jump on the bus with us. Our kids are really great and it is amazing to see the improvement they have made in just 4 weeks.
